Fern Tree is Hobart's mountain suburb. We are on the slopes of Mt Wellington, 400m above sea level, about 10km south-west of the city centre.

Surrounded by bush - our homes are spread out along a couple of main axes: Huon Road and Summerleas Road, with a number of smaller streets too. The road to Mt Wellington heads up from Fern Tree, just below the tavern. Read more.
